Rocket Electric, LLC was created in 2021. The owners, Ralph Fortmann and McGregor Johnoff decided to team up and do electrical work the way they always felt it should be done. Between the two of them, they bring over 20 years of combined experience to every job, and they're the ones you'll actually see at your door. That hands-on approach is a big part of why property owners around Toledo have come to trust them. Whether the project is a quick repair or something a little bigger, both residential and small commercial call Rocket Electric LLC to get it handled.
Being locally owned and operated means a lot to our crew, and it shows up in how we treat every home and customer. Fair pricing, honest answers, and a whole lot of pride go into the residential and light commercial work we do throughout the Toledo area. We stay professional from the first handshake to the final walk-through, cleaning up when we're done and leaving your place in better shape than they found it. Little touches like sending Christmas cards to customers are also just our way of showing that the relationship doesn't end when the job wraps up.
If your home still leans on an old fuse box or a panel that's seen better decades, electric panel upgrades are how you bring it into the modern age. We handle main service panel replacements, boost capacity to keep up with today's appliances, and get your setup ready for things like spa hookups and electric vehicle (EV) chargers.
Wiring tends to be out of sight and out of mind until a flickering light or a warm outlet reminds you it's there. Our residential wiring and rewiring services cover everything from tearing out old knob-and-tube and aluminum wiring to running brand-new circuits for that addition you've been planning.
An outlet that stops working or a breaker that keeps flipping has a way of throwing off your whole day. That's where our electrical repair services shine: we hunt down the root cause and patch it up properly, rather than slapping on a quick bandage.
Losing power during a nasty Toledo storm ranges from mildly annoying to a real problem when the sump pump and fridge go quiet. A solid generator installation keeps everything running, with standby units and automatic transfer switches that flip on by themselves the second the grid drops.
Wiring a brand-new home is one of those jobs where getting it right early pays off for years to come. We manage new construction electrical work top to bottom, laying in the panel, circuits, outlets, detectors, and outdoor connections while teaming up with your builder to keep the timeline moving.
Any time you reimagine a room, there's usually some wiring that has to move, grow, or get an upgrade to match. Our electrical remodeling work includes relocated outlets, added USB plugs and smart switches, new ceiling fans, and dedicated circuits for EV chargers of all makes. Kitchens, basements, home offices—you name it, we power the space to fit how you actually live.
The right lighting can turn a dull room into a favorite spot and make your yard look great long after sunset. Our lighting installation work spans recessed cans and accent fixtures indoors to landscape, security, and flood lighting outside, and we genuinely love the outdoor stuff.
A dark storefront or a tripped circuit can bring your workday to a screeching halt, which is the last thing any business owner wants. Our commercial electrical services help keep offices, shops, and restaurants running smoothly, whether you need troubleshooting, LED retrofits, panel work, or a tenant buildout.
There's a reason your neighbors keep passing our name along, and it comes down to how we treat the people we work for.
Should a project run bigger than expected, our financing options help you spread the cost out instead of covering it all in one go.
Before we ever get started, you'll receive a no-cost estimate that clearly lays out the work, so there are no surprises later.
Running a hometown business keeps us honest, and we pour that same integrity into affordable, dependable service built around what you actually need.
Peace of mind comes standard, since every job we finish carries a minimum one-year workmanship warranty.
